Due to me moving, the server which hosts all the movie files will be down until late October at the earliest. I apologize for the inconvenience, but hey, it's free. You can't complain.
In other news, we're at a new domain, www.quicktimeflix.net, and I added a new section, the Theater Surround Sound Systems Trailers section. Also, when the server comes back up, I should have some new clips for everyone.

Update: The server could possibly go up as early as this weekend. I need to lay some network cable, and make sure the new network configuration is suitable for serving.

The server will be down for 2-3 weeks while Harvard reconfigures its campus network. The server will not be up before the week of June 26th. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry, but the server is still not up. It will hopefully go up this week on a faster connection. In the meantime, I have added new high quality QT4 versions of the SNL Apple commercial parodies, the first episode of The Ambiguously Gay Duo, and some projects over a decade old from the defunct Apple Advanced Technology Group: Her Majesty's Secret Serpent and Splash Dance.

OK, OK, I'm sorry. The server was offline for a long time and I never updated this page. I'm sorry. I'm a lazy ass. I'll never let it happen again (until the next time). The server is back. The server is up. The server is still a IIsi. Oh well. It gets the job done. I'll be adding a lot more cool movies soon. And the server has a nice 1 GB drive.

I'm not going to increase the number of simultaneous connections, because the server is only a Mac IIsi, and adding more connections will only result in an exponential drop in transfer rates. If the server is too busy, please come back and try again another day. These movies will still be here; they're not going anywhere.

The hard drive is making nice noises (i.e. no noise), and so it's back up . . . for now.

I turned the server off because the external hard drive I was using was making funny whirring sounds. I might bring it back up later tonight or tomorrow. I'm still working on getting that new 1.2 GB hard drive working.

The RAM upgrade went wonderfully, and I now have 17 MB of RAM. Yay! The hard drive was DOA. So for now the files are being served off a temporary external. Be aware the server could go down unexpectedly at any point over the next few days while I try to fix the hard drive.

The server containing these QuickTime movies is down for a RAM and hard drive upgrade. I hope to have it back up within two hours. Until then, I have placed the Think Different Parody on an alternate server. All other movies will be unavailable until the upgrade is completed.
